Introductory level training
Managers working at an organizational level often experience ambivalence from their constituents, employees, and other stakeholders. It can be difficult to help organizations (and people within those organizations) make needed changes. It can be particularly difficult for people to make needed change if it is perceived that the change is being externally forced. Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based and strength-based conversation style that helps people resolve ambivalence and increase commitment for making a behavior change. Motivational interviewing increases the likelihood that people will own the change behavior and become more internally motivated.
